Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does.

Difference MAKERS

“We are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” Ephesians 2:10, NIV.

You are a Difference MAKER.  From how you live your life, relate to those around you, and how you share your resources, you make a difference.

Sometimes that difference is easy to see.  You teach children’s Bible study and watch their love for God grow.  You serve a meal or a snack at Triune Mercy Center, and the neighbors are grateful.  However, there are many ways you make a difference that you will never see.

You will likely never meet the clients at Julie Valentine Center, the neighbors at Greer Relief, the recipients of medical debt relief, the women of Bete Hosanna, the children at the border, or the communities that field personnel with Cooperative Baptist Fellowship serve.

And yet, we give.  We give of our finances and resources because our lives are rooted in God’s love and trust that the God who has given to us abundantly in the past will remain faithful in the future.  We give to make a difference in the lives of God’s kingdom.

Stewardship begins with a recognition that all we have comes from God and belongs to God. We don’t give to the budget, or even give to God--we GIVE BACK to God what he has entrusted to us.

Below are some links to other resources for your reading, listening, or viewing pleasure. They range from how to speak with children about generosity to growing in our stewardship. To be grateful is to have our eyes open to the abundance of God displayed all around us.
