CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
We partner with parents to help children learn about God and have experiences that make them enjoy church. We offer relevant Bible studies and many other fun, educational activities. "Little ones" even join us for the first minutes of worship on Sundays to better experience congregational life.
It’s all about fun with faith in a close community.
There's fun for all ages at 10 am during the Sunday Bible Studies. Age appropriate activities for children with classes for 3 - 4 yr olds, K - 2nd, and 3rd - 5th) with two teachers per classroom. All teachers comply with our Safe Sanctuary Policy.
Children also serve as worship leaders on Sunday mornings...singing in worship, reading Scripture or offer the morning welcome. An experienced staff serves our nursery to provide care of babies and toddlers.
PelhamKids is children's church at 11 am. Children 3 yrs - 2nd grade are invited to experience worship on their level with music, lessons, and fun. Children are always welcome in worship. PelhamKids gives children and parents an alternative. Either way, we LOVE our children!
PelhamFriends for ages K - 5th grade meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:45-7:30 pm as part of the church’s Wednesday night activities. This will be a time for learning, games, crafts, and more. There is also a spiritual formation time for parents that takes place during this time.
Summer Activities This summer, the children will go to Camp Prism in Hendersonville NC the second week of July 2023. Camp Prism is for grades 3-5.
We also have a family day camp in the late summer at Camp Awanita. Awanita is for all ages of children who enjoy the endless list of various activities from horseback riding to canoeing and a big water slide.
Vacation Bible School will be July 17 - 20 at Pelham Road Baptist Church. Vacation Bible School is a fun time for our children in the community to learn more about God and have fun doing it.
